One of the nicest and most scenic ways to get around Boston is by water transportation. The Airport Water Shuttle (617-439-3131) takes you from Logan Airport to Long Wharf on State Street. This is ideal if you're staying at the Boston Harbor Hotel, or Marriot Long Wharf. The water shuttles run year-round run year-round and are heated and weather safe.
From the airport terminal, there is a free shuttle bus that takes you to the airport docks. Just board the water transportation bus (route #66) and two minutes later you're on board. The water shuttles are a pleasant 10-minute ride through Boston Harbor.
